Pulmicort or Budesonide Inhalation Suspension

What is it - Pulmicort is a corticosteroid a medicine used to decrease inflamation. Unlike bronchodilators like xopenex or albuterol, Pulmicort isn't meant for acute symptoms of asthma, but for more of a a maintinance medicine.

Pulmicort may begin working in as soon as two to eight days , but may take as long as four to six weeks for full maximum benefit to be achieved.

! mg of Pulmicort respules is like giving 2 mg to an adult.

Acording to product documentation pulmicort Respules are indicated for the maintenance treatmentof asthma and as a probhylactic therapy in children 12 months to 8 years of age. It is not indicated for the relief of acute bronchospasm.
